Street Photography
A documentary photography categorizing contents in forthright situations among the various public spots like parks, malls, beaches, streets and others is known as street photography.
Street photography applies the method of straight photography, depicting a saturated imagination of a certain thing. The style of street photography present today is mostly done in black and white. There is often poignant difference or incongruity in the street photography and can be outstripped from the main subject.
Street photography: Early years
The street photographers in Europe and North America have provided an elaborated and contingent record of street culture in the 20th century.
Many of the artistic act of street photography was brought into existence during 1890’s and 1975. some of the renowned street [photographers include W. Eugene Smith, Willy Ronis, Alfred Eisenstaedt, Robert Frank, Henri Bresson and Garry Winogrand.
Challenges in Street Photography

Motion Photograhy- many of the street photographs are made on a move. One has to be skilled while taking a shot because taking time in preparing the set up and camera might lead to the failure of an exclusive shot. To get the best results of street photography,you need to be exploratory and avid rather being steady and indecisive.

A closed book- street photography is like proceeding in an obscure direction because you can never be sure of the kind of shots and findings that may take place. Many other forms of photography requires pre-prepration but in the street photography uncertainity pevails and thus, even the best of your prepration might not give you the desired results. One need to be adept enough to develop shots at the spot.

The people - while taking shots of strangers, one needs to be extremely cautious to never hurt the dignity of any individual. Some may get aggressive when clicked secretively or without their prior permission, while some may act sporting and casual about the same.to avoid any kind of hassle, it is advisable to take permission if your shot requires that person in it.
Street photography was done widley practised in the past but today the interest in street photography seems to be dimished. Though street photography might look a tedious job as it involves lot of walking and also many people on street feels annoying with the occurance of the camera facing them by the street photographers., but the best part about street photography is that one can be very explorative and experimentive in street photography.
