Photography Faults

The advancement in camera and in photography techniques has definitely opened up new ways to make the job of a photographer easier, but still there are possibilities of few errors that may occur while taking a photo.

Here are some of the photography mistakes that can be avoided by examining them while taking a photo:
OBSTRUCTION

it means appearance of anything unwanted in the picture, that can happen due to the camera strap or a finger cast in face of the lens.
BLURRY IMAGES

blurry photos most commonly happens because of camera shake. We may also sometimes, get blurry pictures in the case of deficit light. To avoid the blur ness, one should hold the camera firmly and steadily while clicking a picture or employ a stout tripod when shooting at a slow shutter speed. Keeping the shutter speed faster, by using fast films can also help in preventing camera shake.
OVEREXPOSURE

The act of exposing film to excess light or for a longer time can cause overexposure. At times pictures can become entirely white and saturated due to overexposing. In such situations one must shoot in the appropriate light whereby manually adjusting the exposure can also avoid overexposing.
UNDEREXPOSURE

when photos are exposed to too little light or for very lesser time, it results in underexposing of the picture. This might happen due to dim light or faster shutter speed. One should make sure that the camera has captured sufficient light before flicking the shutter. Exposure should be adjusted according to the scene.
RED EYE

It is one of the most usual errors that occur while taking a photo due to reflection of light from the camera’s flash. When pictures are clicked using flash in dismal situations, we often see a red glow in the eyes, which is referred to as the red eye fault. This can be avoided by using adequate light, if conceivable or through bounce light, which can be done by implementing other equipments for example, white ivory sheet, aluminum sheet, before taking photography. Some cameras have automatic red-eye removal software.

OUT OF FOCUS

an image that has not been brought into focus or has not been centered upon is purposeless and cannot be redressed. Out of focus situation can happen when the appropriate object has not been focused upon, or when you are snapping an object that is in motion. Many cameras can set the focus automatically, but one should always ascertain that the camera focuses on your desired subject in the scene.
DARK SILHOUETTE

this happens when there is a burnished light in the background of the subject and the camera takes the bright light from behind, leaving the front object underexposed or silhouetted. A common example of such an error can be seen when we click a photo of somebody against the sun on a beach, where a dark silhouette of a person appears leaving the background bright. Using fill-in flash can avert this difficulty, as it keep in care that the object is lighted well with the details.
