The name, Bullet cameras comes from its resemblance with rifle bullet. It can be used either inside or outside. These are available in black and white as well as colour mode. Most of the security cameras have a fixed 4mm lens that allows to see facial features out of about 35 feet and provides a 70 degree angle of view which is the widest angle one can have without distorting the picture.
Its advanced digital technology makes it to display colour during the day time and automatically switch to black and white mode in low light. For black and white cameras, resolution level is about 400 lines whether for colour cameras, more the resolution would give better picture. They are commonly used in Closed Circuit Television Applications. It needs a 12 V DC power supply.
DOME SECURITY CAMERAS:
These cameras have a dome shape which makes difficult to detect easily that where the camera is aiming. These cameras are used inside the business apartments and stores. Besides having a good resolution (400 lines for b/w and 380 lines for colour), they can be mount on the ceiling or on wall easily. Their two main advantages are a more appealing visual appearance and being easily movable. Their drawback is a lack of usefulness during low light situations.

Dummy or fake security cameras are ideal option for many small scale businesses seeking to detect theft, robbery and shoplifting with a real look, low maintenance and easy installation process.
IP (INTERNET PROTOCOL) CAMERAS:
IP Camera creates digitized video streams and transfers via a wired or wireless IP network, enabling monitoring and video recording as far away as the network reaches.
SPY CAMERAS:
Spy cameras can work without the target individuals ever knowing as its size can be as small as thumb nail. It can be used to see what type of service you are paying for and to make sure there is no theft going on inside your home or to watch over employees to make sure they are doing their job round the clock. INFRA-RED CAMERAS:
These are often called "Night Vision" cameras because they can 'see' at night. They use infrared light which allows camera to capture good images even at low light. The source of light is installed around the lens of camera. The only limitation of these cameras is they do not well in outdoor locations as infrared light reflects with the glass of housing.
CCTV:
CCTV refers to the use of television with cameras enriched with a visual technology for surveillance purposes. CCTV pictures are viewed and/or recorded, but are not broadcast. CCTV is the precursor to digital network systems which usually involves analog cameras and recorders.
