Cameras

TYPES OF CAMERAS:

VIEWFINDER CAMERA

A camera in which there is a viewfinder that is separate from the lens used in taking the picture is called a viewfinder camera. A simple point-and-shoot disposable camera is an example of a viewfinder camera. But all viewfinder cameras are not simple.

TWIN LENS REFLEX CAMERAS

This camera is fitted with two lenses of the same focal length mounted atop of each other. The lens at the top is for viewing and focusing the image and the one at the bottom is for exposing the film. These two are mechanically adjusted so as to focus at the same time.

SINGLE LENS REFLEX CAMERAS

This camera uses single lens for both viewing and photographing the image. This also uses a pentaprism which helps in a correct view of the focusing screen.

DIGITAL CAMERAS

Digital camera is the one that shoots pictures without using a film. Instead it uses a sensor chip which is readable by a computer for recording the image on it.
